Folders and the card view

Browse by folder in the sidebar, or see every note at a glance as colored cards.

The folder tree

The sidebar shows the folders of your workspace with the number of notes in each. Right-click a folder to create a new note in it. Right-click a note to open it in the editor or the viewer, copy its path or delete it (it moves to .trash/).

The card view

The card view lays out notes like sticky notes: pinned notes first, then the rest, newest changes first. Each card shows the color, title, the start of the text and its tags. Press Esc in a note to go back to the cards.

Changes from other apps

Edit a note in another editor, sync the folder or add files from the terminal — press Ctrl+R (Reload) and MarkCluster picks up every change.
