Excluded folders

Folders full of generated files are left out, so search stays useful even if your workspace is a project folder.

Left out by default

• Hidden folders such as .git and .obsidian, and .trash
• Dependencies and build output: node_modules, vendor, target, build, dist, .next, Pods and similar
• Python environments: site-packages, __pycache__, .venv, venv, .tox, and any folder with a pyvenv.cfg
• Bundles and metadata: *.dist-info, *.egg-info, *.app, *.framework

Add your own

Open ⚙ Settings › Excluded folders and enter folder names separated by commas. Press Ctrl+R to reload.
